The RSK method of roof construction can be delivered over the phone in an emergency.
There are 2 reasons this can be achieved effectively.

1. The RSK concept of 4 roof poles overlapping in turn can be taught in only a few minutes by using simple diagrams.

2. From this point onwards all of the construction steps use traditional methods that are already familiar to the local
community.
​
This combination of introducing a new concept into existing traditional methods of shelter construction works well in practice. We have found that a 15 minute demonstration of the roof frame is enough to get families building their own shelters with considerable efficiency.

In addition we also supply a single page check list for families to refer to as their shelter is being built.
